Our client, based in Germany, makes free-to-play online games. They are looking for a Playability Testing Manager with experience in setting up and managing the playability QA. This will involve ensuring, from the beginning of the first playable demo, that the gameplay features are consistent with the overall gaming experience. Is the game fun to play, are the control methods done well, is the usability good, does the character or vehicle control well in the environment, is the balancing done properly, does the storyline fit into the overall settings, etc.?
The office is English speaking and candidates with a very good level of spoken English will be preferred. The successful candidate will also build their own team.

You will join a strong audio team and create original and inventive sound design.
The studio has several AAA titles awaiting your skills. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year in-house audio design experience, but they will consider substantially more experienced candidates as well.
Requirements:-
- Experience on Xbox 360 and PS3
- Worked on a recently published title
- Experience creating sound effects using custom recordings and library material to generate highly original audio
- Experience using audio middleware (Wwise) and custom built audio implementation solutions
- High level of ability and familiarity with DAWs such as Cubase, Vegas, Sound Forge, and the integrated use of plug-ins.
- Knowledge of recording techniques, microphone placement, Foley sound creation and on-location recording
The successful applicant will demonstrate a broad knowledge of both computer game audio issues and sound design methods, will have experience with sound production tools and game audio engines, and will be a pro-active communicator with a passion for games and interactive audio.
