About the company, the recruiters and how to find us

Datascope Recruitment, the UK's number one consultancy for the games industry, is based in central London and was founded in 1991. Our consultants are industry experienced in their specialist areas. The service covers programmers, artists, designers, developers, sales, marketing and PR staff at all levels. We have more consultants, more current jobs and are the best connected agency in the games industry. Julien Hofer
The founder of the company. This ex-mathematician has spent time working as a programmer and now specialises in the recruitment and search and selection of senior management in games development.

Donna has five years' experience with Jagex (of Runescape fame) and now recruits associate producers, producers, QA and localisation professionals.

Andrea Denton
Andrea has a degree in French from Kings College and has been recruiting games programmers for Datascope for nine years. She heads up all games recruitment.

Lucy Phillips
Lucy has an MA from Glasgow University and has worked for Datascope for four years recruiting games designers before taking a materninty leave to be with her little boy Rudi. She's now back at Datascope recruting designers and game programmers.

Matt Rock
Matt studied Illustration at Loughborough University. Since then he has illustrated, animated and graphic designed for 4 years before joinging Datascope to recruit games artists and animators.

David Rowden
David has in excess of twenty years' recruitment experience and joined Datascope over ten years ago to establish a presence in Interactive Media. David currently recruits web programmers and creative and content staff at all levels, through to Senior Management.

Yelena Spector
Yelena, a fluent Russian speaker with a degree in Marketing, now works in our Chicago office recruiting games programmers, producers, artists and designers.

Carmelo Vadala
Carmelo is our International Business Manager. He is mult-lingual and is responsible for accountmanagement for countries outside the UK and and USA. He is Italian, born and raised, but language wise that is just the tip of the iceberg.

David Sewell
David graduated in Business Administration and joined Ranks Hovis McDougall in brand management. He then built up and sold his own search and selection business before becoming a turnaround consultant in the 90s. He returned to University to read Postgraduate Assessment Psychology and after running a 360? / Management Survey Unit in conjunction with London Business School, he moved into Datascope’s consultancy Division full time – though he has been a non Exec of Datascope for 15 years.

Kate Gaseltine
Kate is one our two in-house business psychologists. After achieving a first in PPE at Oxford and then spending several years in the Treasury, she undertook an MBA at London Business School and went on to work for a top management consultancy. Armed with an MSc in Business Psychology she now specialises in executive coaching.
